Viewing Capacity for Your Favourite Routes

Each Days Capacity

The capacity availability dashboard is viewed by individual days. For each day it will give you a breakdown per route (from origin to destination) and the equipment selected for that route. You can see up to 24 days into the future using the arrows in the top row, either in 4 day blocks by using the standard arrow buttons or jumping to the last 4 or first 4 days by using the skip arrow buttons.

Pinned Routes

All routes entered will be listed here with specific ones that you are most interested in being able to be pinned to the top of the list.

Viewing Service Capacity

If there is capacity that you are interested in on a particular day, you can select that day to show the services and the capacity available. The services are ordered by earliest arrival, and show wether they are going from/to CT or siding locations (or both) as well as the capacity per equipment type. They will also highlight any restrictions around Hazradous or Refreigerated freight.

View Unavailable Services

You will also be able to view any services that have either departed already or have no capacity remaining. If you wish to enquire about any of these services you can contact the KiwiRail team at any time.
