If you’re having issues managing your users, check out our troubleshooting guides below.

Remember: If you don’t see “People” in your menu bar, then you aren’t a company admin. Every company has at least 1 admin.

I can’t approve/deactivate/reactivate a user?

To approve a new user, click on the “Approve” button next to their name. If you don’t know the requester, click on “Decline”:

To deactivate, click the arrow next to a user’s name and click on the red “Deactivate User” button:

To reactivate a deactivated user, click the arrow next to their name and click on the “Activate User” button:

How do I create user logins for my team?

Click on the “Add User” button in the top right corner of the User Management screen. This will allow you to create as many users as you want at the same time.

Enter their name, email address, and select the freight payers you want them to have access to:

If you want to add multiple users at the same time, click “+ Add another user” in the top left and enter their details as well. You can add upto 50 users at a time.

Once you’ve added all the users, click “Create User(s)”.

I can't remove myself as an admin?

Every account must have at least 1 admin. If you want to remove yourself as admin, change another user to admin before removing yourself.

If you’d like to close your portal account then reach out to our Customer Delivery team.

I can't edit my name?

You can edit your first and last name in the My Profile Page:

You cannot change your email address as that’s used to sign in to the portal. If you would like to change your email address, please re-register your account using the new email address.

I have multiple users to create, can KiwiRail make these for me in bulk?

You can create up to 50 users at a time by using the add users function.

If you want to add more than 50, enter the details of the first 50 users and click “Create User(s)”. Once the page finishes creating the users (it may take upt a minute for this many users at once) you can add another batch by clicking “Add User” again.

If you need to create more than 50 users for your account, the KiwiRail Digital Solutions team can do this in bulk. Please send us the following information about the users:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Addresses

  • Freight Payer codes you want them to access

It can take up to 2 working days for us to process this type of request, so if it’s urgent it is still best to add them yourself.
